Join us for an exhilarating sailing adventure on the racing yacht, "Farrst Forward". Take in the beauty of Akaroa harbour and its wildlife while enjoying the exhilaration of sailing on New Zealand's most popular racing keel boat "Farr 1020". You are welcome to join in and help sail, and learn some skills! Experienced yachties, learners and those just wishing to sit back and enjoy, are all wecome.
We can sail the harbour from north to south while continually trimming the sails to maintain optimum boat speed. The boat is available for private charter by arrangement, please contact the Skipper directly.
Farrst Forward is a competitve racer in the Akaroa Crusing Club racing fleet. If you wish we can drop anchor in a sheltered cove, enjoy a swim or relax in the sun. Rob has skippered keel boats in over 500 races as well as having plenty of coastal experience around the New Zealand coastline. Weather permitting. We invite you to join us.
Safety is paramount and the yacht is fully compliant with the New Zealand Maritime Saftey Authority. For your comfort we sail according to weather conditions and reserve the right to postpone or cancel at anytime with no charge or full refund.
Please bring warm clothing and jacket, soft shoes with non marking soles, sun protection and food and beverage if required.
